Reproductive Surgery
A leading expert in laparoscopy and laser surgery, Dr. Stoelk is one of the most experienced and successful reproductive surgeons in the industry. Not only has he helped bring joy to countless families, he’s helped reduce the pain of endometriosis, relieving symptoms such as pelvic pain, painful intercourse, menstrual cramps and irritable bowel syndrome.
Laser Laparoscopy is useful for a number of conditions that affect the Fallopian tubes, ovaries and uterus but especially for complete and accurate removal of endometriosis. Laser laparoscopy is a minimally invasive outpatient surgery.
Outpatient Tubal Ligation Reversals are ideal for women who wish to reverse a tubal ligation. Dr. Stoelk performs the technique on an outpatient basis to lower patient costs.
Hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive technique Dr. Stoelk uses to treat endometrial conditions that lead to infertility or heavy, often painful periods. Endometrial polyps, uterine septum, adhesions and some fibroids can be removed through hysteroscopy.
Removal of Fibroids may be necessary when these benign tumors cause pregnancy loss, heavy vaginal bleeding or pelvic pain. As many as 40% of women 35 and older have uterine fibroids. Thanks to medical advances, hysterectomy is no longer the only answer. Other techniques allow us to remove the fibroids and leave the uterus intact, although it often depends on the size and position of the fibroids.
